Running reflections

Greetings from the passenger seat during a long car ride home from a great visit to SC with my family. Training for my upcoming double race weekend (5k and half in one weekend) is going well.  I did 10 miles last Friday morning before leaving for our trip south that afternoon.  It was a really good solo run for me and I kept a nice steady race pace. I was having memories of last years marathon training because the route I took was one we frequented for our training.  It was neat to reflect on how far I have come....not just physically but mentally and just overall I am stronger than ever. More than ever I am feeling excited about the new challenge of completing 2 races in one weekend....and also a turkey trot  5k the following Thursday! So 3 races in one week?!  (Will be great prep mentally for the Ragnar) Speaking of the Ragnar race (not til April 2018) I have been giving the headlamp a try on a few morning runs.  Decided I definitely need a better, brighter version.  Have added
