Half Crazy and Countdown to Ragnar

Last weekend I completed my 10th Half Marathon.  It was the Trap Pond Half in Delaware.  Several friends ran it and 2 of my friends ran the 50K in honor of their 50th birthdays. Such a fun weekend with friends. My husband was there as well and was supposed to run the half (his first) with me but ended up injuring his foot playing basketball so was not able to race, which was a little dissapointing.  My friend Janet and I ran most of the race together (seen in pic above) and it was a flat, beautiful course. I should not have worn my trail shoes as they ended up giving me blisters and were not neccessary for this easy terrain.  I felt good until about the last 5k when the blisters started to bother me and I was just tired.  Doing 3 half marathons in such close succession I think was more of a challenge than I thought it would be.   It was a fun weekend though!
